CHAPTER ONE

FREEDOM FROM THE GRIP OF WITCHCRAFT

As we come to the close of the age, there are several terrible things that have found their ways

into the church. Unless an effective spiritual surgery aimed at cutting off these things is carried out, this generation may not witness a revival.

This is an age of moral decadence. Among other things there are seductions, worldliness and backsliding. Witchcraft has taken over many congregations. The purpose of looking into this topic is to identify, isolate and radically banish these witchcraft spirits from our lives.

I want you to pray this prayer point with all aggression: Every witchcraft power that does not want me to have peace, your time is up. Therefore, die, in the name of Jesus.

The blood of Abel spoke vengeance but the blood of Jesus speaks better things. It is now left for you to claim those good things through aggressive prayers. The Bible says: "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed (John 8:36), Therefore, pray like this: Let the blood of Jesus speak for me today, in the name of Jesus.

THE WEAPON OF DOMINATION

There are some key points to note in this chapter. The first thing is that witchcraft is a terrible thing.

It is public enemy number one. Witchcraft is extremely bad because it makes people to do satan's will.

It makes people do what they do not like to do ordinarily.

These days, as believers get more enlightened on the subject of deliverance and the power of God, there Is a great consciousness about witchcraft power. Several people are getting to understand things that have to do with witchcraft operations.

It has been made abundantly clear that witchcraft operations are used to subdue people through demonic influences. It uses satanic weapons to subdue people's prospects. It is used to perpetrate evil and to effect a change using powers which are different from the power of God.

Let us take an incisive look at 1 Samuel chapter 15 verse 22:

1 Samuel 15:22: And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

The key word in this verse is "obedience." It is not possible to bribe God with sacrifices or with money. The only thing He delights in is obedience.

1 Samuel 15:23: For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

WITCHCRAFT ROOTS

Whenever there is a problem a believer ought to perceive the problem as a tree having branches. For example, if someone is addicted to alcohol, drugs or smoking, they are just branches of deep problems. The root may just be frustration.

Let us consider the case of a prostitute. The root may be that the person is possessed of sexual demons.

There is a problem also when people go for deliverance or come to the house of God and still decide to stubbornly stick to their sins without obeying God. All that will be achieved at the deliverance ground is to bring about a demonic exchange. That is the water spirit may go for the lying spirit to replace it. The spirit of lust may take its leave, and dishonesty will come in, simply because the individual refuses to obey God.

Know that the flesh will always stand as a barrier between you and your deliverance. The Bible says:

2 Cor. 10:3-6: For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not camal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

God has given us capacity to revenge all disobedience. God has given us the authority to deal with powers of darkness no matter how fortified their strongholds may be. But this can be done only when a believer Is absolutely obedient to God.

THE IMPORTANCE OF OBEDIENCE

One night a sister was sleeping on the bed. Jesus came in to her and spoke to her: "My daughter, do you want me to use you?" She said, ''Yes, use me, Lord."

Jesus said," If you want, me to use you, My glory must be your glory, therefore, remove your artificial glory." She asked the Lord, "Please, Lord, I do not understand You. What is artificial glory?"

The Lord started to point to her certain things which were abominations to Him but she found it difficult to take to the Lord's instruction. The more disobedient she became, the darker her spiritual vision; she was no longer receiving instructions through dreams, all the heavenly visions which she previously had, had disappeared. Why? She was not ready to be absolutely obedient.

If you see a sister who has been a member of a gospel church for not less than five years, trying to deck her self with jewellery and paintings and all kinds of things, she is more intereseted in artificial glory than the glory of God. There are certains prayers such a person cannot really pray. If she prays such prayers, she would be inviting more troubles. This is where some people miss it all.

Obedience to God must be absolute. There are many offenders in the house of God who do not really know the gravity of their offences. The Bible says that hatred is the same thing as muder, since murder is the offspring of hatred and anger. In the same manner, the Bible says that rebellion is the

same as the sin of witchcraft. Stubbornness is the same thing as idolatry and iniquity. Rebellion says, "I will not do it." Stubbornness says, "I will do it my own way." Unfortunately, anyone who disobeys God, no matter the level of the disobedience, has brought himself under the curse which God pronounced on witchcraft. And this is where the major trouble starts.

CATEGORIES OF WITCHES

There are many categories of witches. There are witches who possess evil powers to torment other human beings. They fly to attend witchcraft meetings in the night. It is very unfortunate that the whites are now embracing the gods that Africans have abandoned and are now going deeper into witchcraft.

Witchcraft practitioners now have their own pastors. In the white prisons, witchcraft pastors who are wizards dressed in total black attires would sit beside the prisoners. If a true pastor goes to the prisoners to preach, these witchcraft pastors too would be preaching the gospel of witchcraft. Because of the freedom of worship in the advanced countries, these witchcraft pastors are allowed to preach to prisoners just as the Christian ministers. Nobody would be allowed to criticize them, because the right of freedom of religion is exercised by all and sundry.

THE WORKS OF THE FLESH

The second type of witchcraft is that of the works of the flesh which are documented in Galatians chapter 5 verses 19-20. Many people who do not fly in the night, or drink anybody's blood could still be referred to as witches if they harbour the works of the flesh.

Galatians 5:19-20: Now the works of the flesh are manifest. which are these; Adultery, fomication, uncleanness, lasciviouansss, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies.

There was a particular pastor who servad in six churches. In all of these churches, he was sacked because in each, he impregnate one woman. He was a witch.

When a person uses manipulation, domination and intimidation to have his way, it is witchcraft. The Holy Spirit does not manipulate people, He does not dominate or intimidate people. If prayer, fasting and confession of the word of God cannot be used to solve a problem, any other method used is witchcraft.

We should not criticise a man of God If he says that God says he should be praying on water for people to drink and get healed. We shall know the validity of his claim if people start drinking such water and it does not only quench their thirst but also has healing and miracle potency. Once somebody deviates from God's instruction witchcraft takes over.

If someone uses influence, position, money, beauty, etc., to have his way, It is witchcraft. This Is a demonic manipulation.

A child can control his parents by manipulation; he could tell his mother half of the story and the father, another halt of the story so that both of them would start fighting.

Somebody could pretend to be sick so as to have his way. This is witchcraft.

Many children have grown up to be master manipulators. These days, there are husbands who intimidate their wives

through rage and violence. It is witchcraft.

Several women manipulate their husbands by shedding tears and by making them feel very guilty.

This Is also witchcraft.

There are mothers who tell their son that, "If you are the true son of your father chase out your wife," It is witchcraft manipulation.

Some pastors would come forward and say, "God has shown me that there are 20 people here who will give me one million naira each." They would go ahead to raise such money all through gimmick and manipulation. It is witchcratt.

The use of prophecies, visions and trances to control and manipulate people in any form is witchcraft.

THE SPIRIT OF JEZEBEL

There is a powerful demon that is very rampant in our days. It is called the spirit of Jezebel. This is the spirit that causes females to reject authority. This Is the spirit that Influences men to behave like women. The character trait of this spirit includes domination, control and manipulation of people.

This spirit seeks to operate in the house of God through seduction, fornication and adultery. It is very religious and it loves to operate in the church. This spirit has destroyed families. Jezebel is the grand mother of all those who paint their faces and use make-ups. The Immorality that is so common in the church of God now is brought about by the spirit of Jezebel. Whenever you correct Jezebel's type of dress and make-up, people who are involved in them will query you. They may say, "Have I dressed or done what no one has done before?" this is so serious now that ministers of the gospel no longer go to the streets to search for the prostitutes to preach to. They are already in the church.

Let me share a striking illustration of witchcraft as an evil power with you. Many years ago, we were in a place, where we were involved in certain forms of prayers which were sources of trouble for the enemy. There was a woman who used to attend the prayer meetings we organised while her three daughters would remain at home. She tried hard to bring these children to the prayer meeting but they refused to follow her.

One day when she got home after the service, her three girls surrounded her and said, "Mummy, we have Information to pass to you. Do you know who witches are?"

She said, "Shut up! What do you kids know about witches? You are children of God."

The children said, "No! Mummy, just answer us if you know who witches are."

They refused to keep quiet and insisted that their mother should tell them what she knew about witches. When the mother could not prevail over them, she said, 'Well, witches are evil people, but I do not what you to talk about those evil people again, let us talk about Jesus."

The children then said, "Mummy, we have just decided to inform you that three of us are witches."

The woman said, 'What?"

The children declared, "Yes, we are witches."

The mother was shocked, "In this house that belongs to a Sunday school teacher, how could that be?" she asked.

The children added, "We just want to inform you that for the next one week, you and Dad should not come to the living room after 12.00 midnight Our meeting for this week will take place in our siting room."

This woman ran to us saying that the enemy had set her household aflame. It took time before she could succeed in bringing one of the daughters to us. When she was brought to us, she said, ''The prophet that would pray to bring back the wealth of our parents which we have stolen, will have to make prayer his full-time work. He will stay praying and fasting on the mountain for months with occasional visits to the outside world once a month."

This shows the grip of these strange children's witchcraft powers on their parents. It was a tough situation but the Lord prevailed.

There was another situation where a brother took his mother to a crusade. The brother had always felt that his mother was a witch, and he knew that God had been using the preacher in that crusade to pray against witches after he might have given them opportunity to come out to the altar.

That day, after a while the preacher said, "I command by the authority of Jesus Christ that all witches and wizards should start to come out now."

They rose up and started going towards the altar, but to the amazement of the brother, his mother did not honour the altar call.

The ministration was about to end and the brother feeling dissatisfied, went to his mother, tapped her and said: "Mummy, the preacher is calling you."

The woman answered, "No, they are yet to call us; it Is not yet our turn. Those ones are low cadre witches; we are the king makers and they cannot call king makers out like that."

That is an example of a high level of witchcraft.

STEPS TO FREEDOM

The important question is "How do we secure freedom from the grip of witchcraft?" There are only three ways.

The first way to freeing ourselves from the grip of witchcraft is obedience. Obedience is the first key. As long as there is absolute obedience, no witchcraft power can gain access into a person's life.

The second key is general spiritual warfare. That is, living in the realm of general spiritual warfare.

The third key is personal spiritual warfare.

Let us examine the first key obedience.

What did the Lord command Abraham to do?

Genesis 12:1: Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Gel thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

What was God's commandment to Abraham? To get out of his father's house. How did he respond to this commandment? He obeyed. What are the fruits of his obedience?

Genesis 12:1: By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

He had the fruits of faith in God. What other command did God give to him? God Instructed him to sacrifice his son and he did. To get rid of a withcraft problem is to be ready to repent from all known sins.

You must dedicate your household unto God because anything didecated to God would be taken care of by God. You must also be careful about what, where, and how you eat.

You must cleanse your house and your business premises spiritually, you need to pray warfare prayers against witchcraft opeartions, you would need to subject yourself to deliverance ministrations, and endeavour carry out litigation against them by pleading the blood of Jesus.

ANTI WITCHCRAFT PRAYERS

Let us look at 30 ways we can pray against witchcraft powers:

You can pray against their foundations.

You can pray against their food.

You can pray against their seats.

You can pray to make their habitations desolate.

You can pray to dismantle their thrones

You can pray to pull down their strongholds.

You can pray to disgrace their refuge.

You can pray to disintegrate their networks.

You can pray to destroy their communication systems.

You can pray to destroy their transport systems.

You can pray to destroy their weapons.

You can pray to empty their banks and store houses.

You can pray to destroy their altars.

You can pray to destroy their padlocks.

You can pray against their traps.

You can pray to overthrow their projections.

You can pray to reverse their burial because there is something known as witchcraft burial.

You can pray to destroy their bewitchment.

You can pray to stop their evil summons.

You can pray to destroy their Identification marks because they put marks on their prey.

You can pray to frustrate their evil exchange.

You can pray against their flying zones.

You can pray to destroy their curses.

You can pray to break their evil covenants.

You can pray to recover your organs from their altars.

You can pray to destroy their evil plantations.

You can pray to cancel their initiations.

You can pray to destroy their poisons.

You can pray to frustrate their evil plans.

You can pray to destroy their evil cage.

If you are under the attack of witchcraft powers. It will be advisable to take it up by fervent.

ceaseless prayers. Note the. 30 areas and pray thoroughly against these evil operations.

A sister noticed that anytime she collected her salary. within a few days. the salary was gone. She would not be able to account for the money. Immediately after she collected her salary. she would go into debt; she would start borrowing from those who earned less and this got her worried. One day. she listened to a message by the G. O. entitled "Your battle and strategies." and set out to war.

Immediately she received her next salary, she carried out a prophetic action; she put her salary on the floor, took up a cutlass and started to pray like this: "Every evil hand on my money, I cut you off, in the name of Jesus."

As she dangled the cutlass round the money without knowing the implications of her actions. To her amazement, the next day, she was summoned and Informed that something mysteriously cut off the two hands of her grandmother. When she heard this, she did not bother to travel home because she the cause of the incident.

If you pray effectively against witchcraft forces, they will let you go. But know that when your obedience is not complete, these witchcraft spirits will launch counter-attacks against you as you come against them. Their counter-attacks could be very dangerous. I pray that God would evacuate the spirit of disobedience from your life, in the name of Jesus.

I want to make it categorically clear that it is just impossible for anyone to resist witchcraft spirit as long as such a- person is living in any iota of disobedience.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE

The second and third keys are personal spiritual warfare. There are various steps to deliverance. If you feel that you are under attack or feel that a particular aspect of your life is under evil control, the anti-witchcraft prayers above will provide a permanent barricade against the enemy.

What is the conclusion of the matter? Witchcraft is public enemy number one that must be dealt with

decisively. It is very Important that you pray that the witch in you must die, first because if disobedience and rebellion in your life are not removed, and you start to pray against external witchcraft, these spirits would be embitettered and will deal with you. They will come against you in a rage.

God has issued both physical and spiritual death sentences on all forms of witchcraft. Any believer living in disobedience and rebellion can die like a worthless housefly. A death sentence has been issued against all witches and wizards. Unfortunately many born again believers are practitioners of witchcraft in that they harbour the works of the flesh. These principles of spiritual warfare should be put into practice.

The first step to be taken Is to bow unto God in repentance and forgiveness in anyway you have entertained disobedince and rebellion in your heart. True repentance will grant total victory and your life will no longer remain the same. Tell God that He should remove the property of the devil in you which has turned you to an object of attack by the devil. Command that the witchcraft in you to die. God ahead and pray the prayer points below.

PRAYER POINTS

While laying your hands on your head, want you to pray the following prayers:

Every pattern of witchcraft in my life, break, in the name of Jesus.

Every ladder of witchcraft into my life, scatter, in the name of Jesus.

Every consequence of witchcraft powers that touched me when I was a baby, die, in the name of Jesus.

Every consequence of witchcraft hands laid on my head, die, in the name of Jesus.

Every embargo of witchcraft against my moving forward, die, in the name of Jesus.

Every agenda of witchcraft upon my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.

Every. pillar of witchcraft of my father's house, die, in the name of Jesus.

Any witchcraft power that ever troubled my Israel, I have a controversy against you. Therefore, appear, in the name of Jesus.

Every assembly of witchcraft that Is troubling my Israel, die, In the name of Jesus.

CHAPTER TWO

WHEN THE ROOT IS INJURED

I would like you to take a prophetic action as you continue to read this book.

Lift up your right hand and declare these prayer points loud and clear: Every confederacy against me in the heavenlies, scatter, in the name of Jesus.

Oh thou that troubleth my Israel, the God of heaven shall trouble you this day, in Jesus name.

Three Scriptures shall be examined as we examine the problem of foundational bondage. The first is found in Deut. 29:18:

Deut. 29:18: Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;

THE ROOT CAUSE

The word root mentioned in the above scripture could be a man or woman or family or tribe. This should be noted as in "...a root that beareth gall and wormwood."

It is possible for a man to be a root that bears poison in an environment. A woman could also be a root that bears poison in an environment. Likewise a family or a tribe.

Let us take a look at another important passage:

Romans 11:18: For If the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

The passage implies that If the root be unholy or unclean so also are the branches.

The third Scripture to be considered is Job 29:17 and it reads:

Job 29:17: And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth.

There was a woman who worshipped a snake and which also made her very rich. She had an altar in her bedroom where she hid the serpent. She had several people working for her and none of them knew she had a serpent in her house. The serpent had a regular time for feeding. The woman, who was a government worker, went out one day on an official assignment and miscalculated the time she was to come back to feed the snake, she ended up coming back very late.

Meanwhile the hungry serpent had looked for food without getting any, and It curled out of the bedroom into other flats. The house boy of another tenant who did not know that the snake had been there for a long time, killed it. Immediately the serpent died, the woman who was on official assignment, and inside an aircraft, died. Her soul was already tied to this serpent; so when the snake

died, the woman died too. We might be tempted to think that was the end of the story. But no, It wasn't.

The woman had three daughters who were 41, 39 and 36 years old repectfully. They had one strange problem in common. Whenever they laid on their beds to sleep something cold would lie by their sides. They never knew what it was until they started praying. Then, the Lord told them that they had serpentine spirits that stayed with them every night.

PRAYER ARROWS

There are prayers and there are prayers! The more you pray, the more you discover, the more you discover, the more you recover, the more you recover, the more your Progress would manifest.

There are some kinds of prayers that you need to pray for the root cause of your problem to be revealed. Such revelation may sometimes beat your imagination.

I want you to pray this prayer with holy aggression: Every serpent and scorpion in my foundation, die, in the name of Jesus.

One day a certain man was going to work, while a certain preacher was preaching along the street. "Repent for the kingdom of God Is at hand."

As the man was about to enter his car, almost immediately God opened the eyes of the preacher in a clear open vision and he saw seven persons carrying a coffin into the man's car. He quickly stopped his sermon and ran to the man and said, "I was just preaching along this street, but this is what God opened my eyes to see. I would want you to go for prayers because you need deliverance."

The man said, "No, that is a lie. I am a Christian and the Bible tells me that whosoever is in Christ is a new creature; old things are passed away" behold all things become new. I don't need deliverance." Within the space of two days, that man died. If he had yielded to that advice, he would have remained alive.

The younger brother of the dead man also found out that he too was smelling death. He ran for deliverance. As he prayed, on the deliverance ground, the Lord opened his eyes to see seven men carrying a coffin towards him. And in the vision, he said, "Stop, in the name of Jesus, who are you? "They said. "We are your great-grand-father's slaves that served him. When he died, we were buried with him, this is why we have come here to kill you as a recompense for what he did to us."

The man started praying and prayed for 30 minutes before the first man fell down in another 30 minutes the next one fell down. His prayer required violence for just one slave to die. Some brethren at the deliverance ground were already calling members of the hospital ministry to handle this man because they thought he was mad, they did not know that he was praying to disarm the evil powers that came to arrest him.

Pray these prayer points with aggression:

Thou coffin power in my foundation, hear the word of the Lord, die, in the name of Jesus.

Every angry power that pursued my parents, my life is not your candidate, therefore, die, in the name of Jesus.

These prayers could bring foundational surgery to any serious believer. The sicknesses of your grandmother or ancestors that have remained attached to your body would be shaken off as you pray them.

HOLY VIOLENCE

The root of a thing implies so many things. This could be the origin, source, underlying support, fountain, infrastructure, foundation, a well from where individuals are dugged out, base, the anchor, the nucleus, the beginning or the core or the centre of a thing or a person. An adage in the western part of Nigeria says, "Pass me not O, gentle Saviour" is not a gentleman's song, if you sing It like a gentle man before you get up from your seat, the Saviour is gone!

The man whose lifestyle served as a source of inspiration for composing this hymn was Blind Bartmeaus; he cried that Jesus should not pass him by. It is very unfortunate that there is no gentle manner of arresting evil. You cannot beg a crocodile that is pursuing you to leave you alone. The violence of Jacob was what got him a name in the Bible. The violence of Bartimeaus got him his sight. Pray therefore that your prayer arrows will henceforth hit their targets.

The afore-mentioned man died because he believed that since he was born again old things automatically would have passed away.

A STARTLING FACT

I believe in this Scripture: "Therefore, if any man be in Christ he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." But if prior to the time you gave your life to Christ, you were owing your house rent, the fact that you gave your life to Christ does not mean that the landlord would write off your rent; since it is a debt you owed him, you must pay It. If your parents have given you a good inheritance, you would not say because you are born again you don't neet it. If on the other hand, children inherited what is bad from their parents, the fact that they are born again does not automatically remove the bad Inheritance. Unless those things are dealth with practically, the salvation does not erase them.

If you are an undergraduate before you gave your life to Jesus, the fact that you are now born again does not mean that you have graduated automatically. The Bible should not be turned upside down. Salvation will provide you with tools which to disgrace the powers of the enemy. A boy had a dream that he was putting on an academic gown and graduating from the university. He had this vision at the age of six, but he he never realised it until 30 years later. He fought for 30 years before he could realise this dream. Why? The root already had an injury. His destiny took several years to fulfil.

ARROW OF INFIRMITY

A sister suffered from a strange sickness. All the drugs given to her refused to work and she became very lean. She had done all available medical tests and each proved negative.

One day, some prayer warriors surrounded her and began to pray with her. God opened the eyes of one of them and he saw a lean, sickly goat tied with a rope on its neck to a tree. As they continued in prayer, the face of the goat changed to that of the sick sister. The goat with a human face now spoke

and said, "Please, help me, my uncle tied me here." This sickness had wasted the life; destiny, time and the whole reason for the sister's existence for about 16 years. It took divine intervention to get her off the demonic hook.

Pray like this: Every arrow of infirmity of my father's house, die, in the name of Jesus.

Every arrow of delay in the root of my life, die, in the name of Jesus.

THE ROOT AND DESTINY

Satanic and wicked attacks can be illustrated from the life of a tree. The visible areas of the tree are the leaves, the branches, the flowers and the buds. Any damage done to all these areas may sometimes be remedied easily. The invisible realm of a tree is the root. Wickedness could be on the surface and could also be underground. Underground wickedness or weakness at the root is the greatest source of sorrow because the root is the most critical part of a structure. The enemy knows that when the root has a problem, the entire plant has a problem.

The enemy knows that no matter how beautiful the leaves and branches may look, once the root is troubled, other external features will not be able to withstand such trouble. The enemy knows that there is a relationship between the root and the destiny. When the enemy has injured the root, many things would go wrong.

One thing that would be experienced by someone whose root is injured is lack of spiritual growth. He may be in a spiritual environment where several people are filled with the Holy Spirit but he will be left out.

The second thing is when the root is injured the victim will be confused.

The third thing to be noticed when there is injury to the root is a great resistance to miracles.

The fourth thing to be noticed when the root is injured is the evidence of a problematic career. No matter how the person struggles, he will discover that there is something wrong somewhere. Every effort made towards the direction of career fulfilment will end In futility.

The fifth thing to be noticed when the root is injured is the presence of incurable or stubborn diseases. The enemy knows that once the health of an Individual is very poor, he cannot perform. If Joseph was always carried to the hospital for headache or stomach ache, he would have had no time to interpret anyone's dream. Such infirmity could have prevented him from fulfilling his destiny.

The sixth thing the person may notice is a very low resistance to sin. Anytime there is rebellion, he would be the first to spearhead it. Anytime people are backsliding, he would be at the forefront. Anytime people begin to turn the Bible upside down, he would be the first to be found in such kind of place. This is a sign that there is an injury in the root.

A pastor was caught in the vestry of a church sleeping with a choir member. The G. O. of that ministry sacked the pastor. Within three weeks of his expulsion or termination, he opened a church very close to the church where he was sacked. If someone who knows what happened to this man and the genesis of his church could think of worshipping in that church, it means the person has an injury in his root.

The seventh thing that happens to the person whose root has been injured is confusion and frustration. These symptoms are common in some nations of the world in that men cannot be easily distinguished from women. When you see one and say, "Hi, Good morning, Madam," he would respond: "I beg your pardon, I am a man." This confusion of identity had set in because the man has breasts and dresses like a lady. This confused lifestyle is as a result of frustration.

The eight thing that happens when the root is injured is that the life of the individual would be filled with fear and worry. The fear would be so palpable that sleeping alone would be a problem. Going out alone would also be a problem. Thank God for His power in the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries. There are some people who could not have been able to interact up with people because of fear and suspicion. Now such people fellowship with the congregation of God's people.

The ninth thing is a life full of bad habits: addiction and evil affection of all kinds.

The 10^th thing that would be noticed when a particular root is injured is the inability to resist temptation. For any small test or temptation, an injured person will fall flat.

The 11^th thing is visible when the root of someone is injured, is failure to receive and to flow in the Holy Spirit. I am not asking whether a person speaks in tongue in the dream. The important thing is whether a person has really received the Holy Spirit in the real sense of it, with evidence of speaking in tongue.

The 12^th thing to be noticed is continuous sorrow and grief.

The 13^th thing that would be noticeable Is chronic hopelessness.

The 14^th thing can happen is lack of confidence in anybody.

The 15^th problem Is withdrawal from people. This Is what we call the 'lone ranger syndrome.' Such a victim would detest Interacting with other people. He hates team work.

The 16^th thing that would happen is that the person would think of dying and ending it up. Any little occurrence and the victim would be thinking of walking out. He will continue to harbour, bitterness, malice and hatred In his spirit. This is a very bad situation.

The 17^th thing that can happen is that the person would have to struggle before making any progress. He would always struggle to get anything: struggle to get to school, fight hard to get a job and fight hard to maintain his job. He would fight hard to get a wife as well as fight hard to secure shelter. If you are the first minister of God in your family, you ought to pray very hard so that the root destroyers will not deal with you.

The 18^th thing that would happen to the victim is that he would be a candidate of problem expanders. Any little negative thing, his life would be expanded in gross problems.

The 19^th thing that would happen is the arrest of progress. As the person struggles, his movement is stalled.

The 20^th thing that would happen is that the victim would become a candidate for star, hijackers.

They will steal his star and take it beyond reach.

Somebody brought to me a large poster of one demonic doctor. I was surprised when I saw the poster. Some people burnt down the house of the demonic doctor. He was very rich and had tricks he used to lure and trap young university girls and commit immorality with them. Unfortunately those girls were ignorant of the facts that their virtues were being withdrawn.

The wicked doctor did something worse than withdrawing the virtues of the young university girls. One day, he invited two girls to his home. He took the first girl to the bedroom and they were inside the bedroom for a very long time. The second girl got worried and stood up to peep through the key hole. What she found almost made her faint. She discovered that the demonic doctor had changed to a python and was swallowing the other girl. What she saw remaining through the key hole was only the legs; this was the remaining part left to be swallowed.

The second girl screamed and ran out to inform the police. Before the arrival of the police, he had completely swallowed the girl and was on the balcony, sweating profusely. The police came in and said, "Where is the girl who came in here?" He replied, Nobody came in here." The other girl got angry and said, "I followed my friend here." The policeman ran inside his bedroom and found many ladies stuff: shoes, clothes and bags.

All the young girls who came there were swallowed by the wicked doctor. For a girl that was sent to the university to study to fall into such a trap shows that there was an injury in the root of her life. Such would not come out with any degree and her life and destiny would be terminated.

Pray this prayer with holy anger and holy madness: Every power hunting for my star, your time is up! Die, in the name, of Jesus.

The 21^st thing that could happen when a root is injured is that the person would be followed about with an unseen power; anywhere he goes the unseen power would follow him.

The 22^nd thing that would happen is that the powers that swallow money would be released to follow such a person.

The 23^rd evidence is that head manipulators would start their operations in his life.

All kinds of evil problems would be wrought on his head. He would lack concentration or focus on an issue. There may be strange noises in his ears. There could be some kind of deafening noises that affect his concentration.

The 24^th thing that could happen is poverty activation. As he transacts business, it would result in pilling up of debts. Even if he started selling his products to church members, they would always respond with a Jesting or Joking disposition saying, "Jesus paid it all."

The 25^th thing that could happen is that the person would become a prey to satanic ministries. He would start to run from pillar to post giving out prayer contracts: Pastor pray for me; Apostle pray me, Prophet pray for me.' whereas, if he could sit down to recover his destiny, he would have discovered that he is 100 per cent better than the people he has been going to pray for him. He has become a slave to satanic ministers.

A sister was told by a false prophet to scrape off the hair on her head, those in her armpits and at her private parts. She did so and gave them to the false prophet. When her husband came, he was embarrassed and eventually sent her packing.

The 26^th thing that could happen is harassment by coffin spirits. They would start pursuing the person in the dream. There would be a foul smell, an odour called the ordination of death. There is an infirmity called infirmity unto death and there is a sleep called the sleep unto death.

A few years ago, a man came to me for prayers. Immediately he entered, I saw a light-complexioned lady following him, carrying a small coffin. The man was very ill when tie was brought to me. He said he did not like Pentecostal churches but came because of his illness. I told him. "Someone followed you here." He laughed and said, "Nobody followed me." I then described the person I saw and he quickly agreed that she was his former girl friend. He said, he impregnated her several times, and the pregnancies were aborted. Of course, he had abandoned her and gotten married to another person but the lady had vowed to finish him. She started carrying the coffin in the spirit so that the man could be trapped inside.

As I closed my eyes and started to pray for him, I almost immediately heard the voice: "Son, don't waste your time; the man is already gone." The coffin power had dealt with him.

In one African country a man was dragged to the police station with the accusation that he was a witch, killing and eating people. The police thought it was a joke and asked the man: "How do you do it?" The man said, "That is okay, can you buy me a piece of pawpaw? They bought a pawpaw pod for him and he put it on the table, gazed it for a few minutes, took a knife and cut it open. When the pawpaw was caught open, to everybody's amazement there was nothing inside it and the man said, "I have eaten it." That was how ate human flesh. After he had eaten them up. they would be going about with empty bodies. Pray like this with holy anger: Thou power of the emptier, what are you waiting for? Die, in the name of Jesus.

The 27^th thing that could happen to a person whose root is injured is that he would be enveloped in a round-about spirit; the spirit that moves back and forth. He would be roaming about in life without catching anything out of the ocean of life. He would be moving around with nets without catching a single fish.

The 28^th thing that would happen is that he would be enveloped in vagabond anointing. He would move from place to place aimlessly. Sometimes people move from one husband to another or from one wife to another. Sometimes during my ministration outside Nigeria. I met such people and challenged them why they should remain outside Nigeria sleeping with dogs instead of going back to Nigeria. Many of them came up to tell me that they earn several thousands of dollars within a short time and that if would take them several years of hard-work in Nigeria to make such kind of money. Is money the reason they should prefer sleeping with dogs? Their problem is that they are laden with vagabond spirits!

The 29^th thing that is noticeable in the life of a person whose root is injured is the attack by "rock spirit." If you come from rocky areas you need to pray hard so as not to be affected by "rock spirits."

The 30^th thing that can happen is for the person to be affected by "desert spirits." These spirits

would ground everything their victims are doing. They turn green, luxuriant fields to deserts.

The 31^st thing that can happen is the putting evil marks on the victim. Anywhere such a person goes, there are troubles and tribulations. Immediately the person arrives at any country. these spirits would locate him because of the evil marks.

The 32^nd thing that can happen to a person whose root is injured is to start carrying unprofitable loads. Many are carrying excess evil luggage on their heads but they do not know it.

The 33^rh thing that can happen is for the person to become a candidate for marriage killers.

The 34^th thing that can happen is for the person to be caged by spiritual marriage, either spirit wife or spirit husband. These are the major symptoms of injury at the roots.

ROOT WORKERS

There is a department in the satanic kingdom called "Root workers." Its specialization is to work on the roots. Once they mess up the root of an individual they no longer bother about such a person; the person may be very rich afterwards but these spirits would not bother because they have gained access to his root in order to destroy him.

Let us examine the case of a person who owned a house. The man was rejoicing that he owned a beautiful house but the person who laid the faulty foundation of that house knew that it was just a matter of time that the house would collapse. The joy of the owner would just be for a time because the foundation of the house would make it collapse.

That was what the enemy does to this kind of people. Unfortunately, these people who ought to be praying now are in one powerless or fake church or other places dancing and playing away their time.

But how do we deal with these root workers?

SPIRITUAL MAPPING

Carry out thorough personal spiritual mapping

Find out facts through inquiry from elders and from the Holy Spirit.

Who were your parents from the third to the fourth generation?

What names did they bear?

Did they bear the names of market days?

Did they bear the names of yam festivals?

Did they bear the name of gods of iron?

Did they bear the names of oracles?

Did you notice that when you were very young your father used to go out very late in the night and come back very early In the morning?

Where was he going?

What was your fathers occupation?

Which activities did he use to carry out?

What were the kinds of idols your forefathers worshipped or served?

How did they give names to their children?

Could it be that a voice would echo the name of the child once the child was born just like It used to be in one village in Nigeria?

Did they employ white garment prophets to give names?

What did they do with the placenta of their children?

These are the fundamental questions to be asked.

Several years ago, we prayed for a sister whose root was injured. This sister is married now. One day the grand mother said to her "I am inside you and you are inside me" but she did not understand her. She did not know that when she was born, the grandmother cooked her placenta and ate it.

The second thing to do is to come to the Lord in repentance

Ask God to forgive you for playing into the hands of the enemy.

The third thing to do is to renounce every evil covenant and association

The last thing to do Is to wage war against the root workers

For many people whose roots are already injured, the next thing to do is to cause a repair to happen by the blood of Jesus.

No one comes to the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries by chance. Those who come do so by divine appointment. Here is an opportunity to deal with every form of root in your life by hot, aggressive and fervent prayers: God has raised up this ministry to repair damaged roots.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

One thing that makes me very sad in the church is that there are very many potential multi-millionaires, prophets and prophetess of God here who are not where God wants them to be. There are some people who before they turn 21 ought to have made billions of dollars, but here they are still living in a rental room.

Enough is enough. We cannot ask God to build a giant building on a foundation that is faulty Some pray to God, "Put money into my pocket" but God would say. Oh yes, I am ready to answer you but there is a hole in your pocket. Why can't you mend that hole in your pocket so that I can bombard you with what you want?"

When someone's root is injured and he comes to God to ask for great miracles, the foundation of that person's life would not be able to carry those miracles. That was why some people sometimes backslide when they receive their breakthroughs.

CHAPTER THREE

THE AGENDA OF THE EARTH

Pray these prayers points:

Wind of God, arise and scatter all anti-promotion powers fighting against me, in the name of Jesus.

My Father, anoint me for conquest, in the name of Jesus.

My God will arise and the rod of the wicked against me shall be buried.

O God, arise and break the teeth of the ungodly working against me, in the name of Jesus.

An understanding of the operations of the agenda of the earth will enable you to experience victory in the battles of life. The full understanding of this agenda will grant you turn-around breakthroughs in all facets of your life

God has created a lot of mysterious things. The blood is one of such mysterious creations. It is not possible to duplicate it. Blood is the essence of life. Water is a mysterious thing. The electricity which we use is a mysterious thing. Another mysterious thing is the earth. You may be surprised to learn some strange but secret things about the earth from the Scriptures.

A LIVING ENTITY

The first mystery which we need to take note of among the secret things of the earth is that the earth or the land is a living, intelligent organism and the Bible addresses it as such. This is contrary to scientific thought which categorizes the earth as a non-living thing. In elementary science, characteristics of living things are stated: they can move, they can reproduce, they can feed; they can respond to stimuli, they can grow, they can excrete, they can respirate and so on. We all know that science is limited. However, we may decide to examine one of the characteristics of living things as highlighted in the Scriptures:

Genesis 1:11-12: And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was In itself, after his kind: and God saw that It was good.

From the above scripture we observe that the earth can reproduce.

Numbers 16:30-32: But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord. And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

SWALLOWED VIRTUES

The land has mouth and is capable of swallowing: The earth has swallowed so many virtues and we ought to pray that whatsoever was swallowed by the earth in our life should be vomited in the name of Jesus because just as the earth is capable of swallowing, it is also capable of vomiting.

Leviticus 18:25: And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon It. and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

The earth can swallow and it can also vomit.

Psalm 143:6: I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land, Selah.

Let us examine another practical attribute of the earth. The earth can be thirsty.

Hebrews 6:7: For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon It. and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

This tells us that earth can drink water. By extended analogy the earth has its own stomach.

The earth should not be viewed as an entity which has no capacity for practical functions. It can indeed perform almost all the functions of living entities. Do you know that the earth has ears?

Isaiah 34:1: Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all Things that come forth of it.

The same idea is found in:

Deut. 32:1: Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

THE EARTH'S EARS

The Bible tells us that the earth has ears; it can hear us when we speak

Psalm 19:1-3: The heavens deciare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Are you not surprised that the earth can also speak?

Jeremiah 22:29: O earth, earth, earth. hear the word of the Lord.

THE EARTH'S INTELLECT

The earth is literate and intelligent. It can discern the prevalent mood in any situation. It can respond in an intelligent manner.

Psalm 76:8: Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

We come across another deep revelation in Jeremiah 4:28:

Jeremiah 4:28: For this shall the earth moum, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken It, I have purposed It, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from It.

The earth has emotions. That is. it can manifest fear, it can mourn and it can rejoice.

Isaiah 25:5: Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat

with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

The earth is capable of being defiled and because it is capable of being defiled, it is capable of being cleansed. This tells us that the earth is a living entity. The earth could enter into agreement with God or man according to Genesis 9:13:

Genesis 9:13: I do set my bow in the cloud. and It shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

THE WITNESS OF THE EARTH

Again another attribute of the earth comes to the fore in Jeremiah 6:19:

Jeremiah 6:19: Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

The earth could be called upon as a witness. Also the earth can form an alliance in a dispute.

The earth is a living entity. We are told that the earth could wage war according to Job 20:27:

Job 20:27: The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.

The earth can also devour men according to Ezekiel 36:13:

Ezekiel 36:13: Thus saith the lord God; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;

THE LAND

Also, the Bible makes us to understand that the land on which a person dwells is capable of being sick. The Bible says in 2 Chronicle 7:14:

2 Chron. 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Note the phrase "I will heal their land." This means a land on which people live could be sick. The sickness of the land can emanate from the inhabitants thereof.

It is clear from these scriptures that the earth or the ground on which we tread day and night has living characteristics. Animals are formed from the ground. Plants are also formed from the ground. If animals and plants are formed from the ground, there is no way someone could send animals against you in the dream to attack you especially if you know how to speak to the ground. The plants and all the elements that are found in the human body could be found in the soil.

The Bible says:

Philip. 2:9-10: Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow. of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

There are things underneath the earth. That is why the ground is addressed as a living entity. The earth was so powerful that all those who died from Adam to the time Christ died on the cross were swallowed by it. Why do people pour libation on the ground? Have you ever thought of this? It is because the children of darkness understand this secret more than we the childen of light.

THE BEWITCHED SAND

Why do wicked people remove or collect sand from underneath people's feet in order to harm them. Why do the children of darkness pay homage to the ground? Why do people press the sand to find out secret information, It is because the earth has some innate powers inherent in it which the children of the darkness understand more than the children of light.

The earth has its own form of life. All lives are not the same. Plant life is different from animals life. Human life is different from the life of insects. Human life is different from spiritual life. Human life is also different from angelic life.

All lives are real but are not the same. The earth as an entity has its own codes. This is why the bible says in I Corinthians 15 that all lives are not the same. Words of power can be programmed into sand and such words of power can start to operate on its own.

Have you laid your hands on projects and it appears as if nothing was working. Do you have a company that is not growing well? Do you have a school and students are not forth coming? Do you have a business and nobody is ready to patronize it? Or are you living in a haunted house? May be you are in a particular location where the enemy is swallowing you. When words are programmed into the sand around the vicinity of such a place it can cause total setback for you and for your undertakings.

1 Cor. 15:37-41: And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

The earth has its own form of life. The problem is that the children of darkness can understand this deep truth more than the children of light. Members of the satanic kingdom have insights into certain secrets concerning the earth.

You will be amazed at what will happen in the kingdom of darkness if you should pray that: "Every power pressing the sand against me, fall and die." Satanic agents and people of the underworld understand this secret. That is why men have worshipped the earth right from the earliest part of

creation. Men pour a libation upon the eath. Perhaps a libation has been poured on your land so much that it is already in bondage.

THE SPIRIT OF THE EARTH

Every land recognises its Lord. It can either listen to your or to disobey your orders. The understanding of the phrase "the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof" is necessary. The Bible says that the earth is given to the sons of men to manage. It depends on what we do with it. If you allow the enemy to take charge of it, it is to your own destruction. But if your decide to take over what has been freely given to us, it is to your own advantage.

Beloved, ignorance leads to destruction. What has been waging war against you might have been the spirit of the grave or the spirit of the earth. The children of darkness exercise their own satanic rights. They manipulate the earth to their satanic advantage. God has established you or planted you in your locality to exercise dominion. Through prayer we must allow God access to the land where we are located. We must also allow Him to manifest His awesome power.

This message may seem strange to many people because the things of the spirit always appear strange to natural people. But when you begin to see the manifestation of the believers' authority over the earth in prayer, you will be amazed and you will begin to praise the name of the Lord.

When men make evil covenants with the earth and you fall into the trap of these evil men, the earth can be used against you. Men and women often issue curses on fellow human beings saying: "As long as you trample upon the earth, remain under bondage." Such curses may affect you unless you rise up in God's power against such pronouncements.

If nothing ever works for you, then try the use of the weapon of the sand. Are you suffering from horrible nightmares? When you sleep at a particular place do you dream of dead people? You need to discover the secret of the weapon of the sand.
